TYNE RIVER VIEW

A development of glass and steel office buildings perched upon the banks of the River Tyne in the heart of the Quayside.

The goal was to design and construct Newcastle’s pre-eminent office development on a prime waterfront location utilising exceptional contemporary design.

Tyne River View complex would provide modern, state of the art working environments for the buildings occupants as well as providing spectacular public spaces for the display of art.

With sustainability being a primary driver on the project, an integral part of the design process was to incorporate as much daylight as possible in the various buildings. This was achieved by using an external glass façade throughout and then utilizing a mix of open plan office spaces with translucent interior walls to allow natural light to filter through to the core of the building.
