Gloster hill amble

A new build residence in the historic Northumberland town of Amble. With views overlooking the North Sea and Warkworth, the clients site is North facing on an incline.

The client wanted a contemporary design adopting Passivhaus principles, utilising offsite manufacturing and modern timber frame construction, which includes a high level of thermal performance and air tightness.

The completed house will benefit from reduced energy costs as well as consumption by the installation of solar PV panels, air source heat pump and a MVHR system.
Construction is due to commence in 2023.
