breamish house powburn
A Visit England Gold award-winning luxury holiday cottage development comprising of six units in secluded grounds at Breamish House in the village of Powburn Northumberland, a magnificent country house built between 1850 and 1900 as a lodge for the West Percy Hunt.
The commission was to design six private holiday lets utilising the rear wing of Breamish House, once the servant’s quarters and two out-buildings located to the west of the main property, all arranged around a rear courtyard with spectacular views towards the Cheviots.
The work involved areas of extensive internal renovation and alteration, and a near total re-build of the main outbuilding to create units 4 and 5 overlooking the Pow burn and Cheviot hills.
The first three units are available to let, and the client informs us that the reviews have been fantastic.
